Thom grew up in Ladson, SC and was a student in SLAM eons ago. He met his amazing, half-Canadian wife Amy at Charleston Southern University, where he studied Youth Ministry. He barely survived getting his master’s degree from RTS Charlotte, and was later ordained in Highlands Presbytery in NC. After returning home to the Lowcountry, he came on staff at Metro North in January 2022. Thom and Amy have four precious bundles of chaos: Isaac, Mary, Jeremiah, and Zachariah.
